The gin Le Séverinois was initially created to mark the 150th anniversary of the Municipality of St-Séverin-de-Beauce in 2022. To craft this gin, we selected plants typical of this small village perched on one of the hilltops in the Beauce Valley. Microdistillerie La Ponce presents Le Séverinois to introduce you to some of these local Quebec botanicals, blending juniper berries with fresh balsam fir shoots, haskap berries, rose petals, nettle, and fireweed. Monarda Gin
The Monarda gin is the most aromatic gin in our range. The selected botanicals
pleasantly infuse the gin, giving it a smooth, rounded taste.
Certain flowers from Quebec, cultivated in permaculture to attract pollinators, offer delicate and varied aromatic profiles. Microdistillerie La Ponce presents the Monarda gin to introduce you to some of these native Quebec plants, blending juniper berries with three main flowers: bee balm (Monarda didyma), holy basil flower (Ocimum tenuiflorum), and anise hyssop (Agastache foeniculum). Labrador tea is also included.

Rubus Gin
Rubus gin is our most classic gin in our range. It’s an all-purpose dry gin where the
flavor of juniper berry is much more pronounced.
The mixed forests and fallow lands of the Chaudière-Appalaches region in Quebec are also rich in delicate aromatics that rival those of the boreal forests. To introduce you to some of these aromatic treasures from Quebec’s terroir, Microdistillerie La Ponce presents Rubus, which combines juniper berry with the fresh young shoots of species from the Rubus genus: Rubus pubescens, Rubus fructicosus, and Rubus idaeus.
