Preparation

  1. In a shaker, combine the brown acerum, maple syrup, lemon juice, bitters and pinch of cinnamon.
  2. Add ice cubes, then shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  3. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice.

Topping

Orange zest and a cinnamon stick (optional)

  • 1.5 oz of brown maple acerum
  • 0.5 oz dark maple syrup
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 dashes of bitters (angostura or orange, depending on your preference)
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
  • Ice cream
